CRAFT New York, by Chef Tom Calicchio

I have to say I LOVE everything about CRAFT Restaurant, at 43 East 19th street, in New York City. If you are a fan of AOC Wine bar in Los Angeles, Public in NYC, or the Little Owl in NYC, CRAFT will make you more than happy!

The wine list is full bodied, and the wine cellars are beautiful to look at. The first impression of the design is impressive, somewhat understated, as the space has an urban elegance, warm and comfortable. The wine cellar is a focal point, beautiful glass, lit just perfectly, with a windy staircase to the 2nd floor.

The food is absolutely delicious. The approach is so straight forward, it's almost impossible to go wrong. The Craft MENU guides you threw Roasted meats, Seasonal Vegetables, Fish and shellfish, along with a creative and tempting side dish selection. I enjoy roasted foods, because of the great flavors, tenderness, and moistness they attain. Lightly seasoned, and roasted items, truly make the natural flavors of the dish come out so wonderfully.

It's clear to me CRAFT holds to the integrity of fine ingredients, and the refined and respected "Craft" of preparing a terrific meal.
